[非公開] Yamate Tunnel Walk
Looking back down the Yamate Tunnel towards the entrance. Inside the tunnel it looked as if Disneyland had been set up. Some of the illuminated archways people could walk through. The colors on the arches changed every few seconds. A display of lights also was shown on the roof of the tunnel. Inside the tunnel it seemed like a Christmas illumination show at times. The driver cab of the Yamanote Line heading for Tokyo Station. Really like the place drivers have reserved for putting their pocket watches. When changing shift, they remove the pocket watch and the new driver puts his in the place. Nice touch of the old with new. One of the many colorful wooden bridges leading to the islands The temple looks quite weathered sitting on this small island near the waters edge, but it is still well maintained. Plenty of ginger here to help clear my cold. Right now I have a cold so my best friend, apart from Rilakkuma, is ginger. I like to have a warm drink in winter, but am not a coffee fan, so hot ginger is a good way to heat up when the body has gone cold.
